Communicating influentially to colleagues and clients to ensure a cohesive approach to project execution while promoting the most suitable approach to be implemented, based on client objectives and expectations. Many organizations invest in sales people because they bring in business. Although this is wise, individuals who actually implement the sold product or service for the customer are often forgotten. These individuals have the product expertise, but often not the soft communication skills, to communicate realistic expectations of a project to colleagues and/or clients. The Influence Without Authority Program focuses on the fundamentals of communication to achieve realistic expectations while promoting the best outcome. The program also takes into consideration the politics that often exist when dealing with colleagues with whom we work with every day and over whom we have no authority. Participants learn to gain respect, confidence, and trust from their colleagues and clients so their recommendations are taken seriously. The ability to communicate knowledge and insight clearly to colleagues helps to provide the best solutions to clients. Note: Refresher Program recommended. Also available in a two to four hour session.
