Ignite Conversations

Suzanne Stevens was invited to speak at the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario (HRPA)’s Practical and Interactive Conference, in Toronto, Ontario on May 21st, 2008. The session focused on “Business Skills: Critical Capabilities Conference Series Building HR Credibility”. The conference was geared towards improving communications between Human Resource Professionals and their C-suite clients.

Suzanne’s keynote address, entitled “Swimming with the Influencers: How to Share Your Expertise so You Get Buy-in”, provided practical tips on how to make one’s point-of-view heard through the clutter and personal biases encountered in the workplace. Attendees learned how to "be heard" at the boardroom table, with their colleagues and with their clients.
