Suzanne F. Stevens, President & Founder of Ignite Excellence Inc., has launched a blog.

The purpose of the blog is to provide readers with a different perspective and challenge the way they think about winning business. It also aims to take people to the edge of their comfort zone, where Suzanne believes people learn most and best optimize their potential.

In addition to our bi-monthly Ignite Insights communications to clients, Ignite Excellence recently launched its own newsletter! Ignite Conversations will provide perspectives, techniques and quick tips on how to win business - network, make a compelling call; present more effectively; sell to a variety of stakeholder; negotiate a win/not-lose agreement; influence without authority; lead your team toward a common goal; coach your team on specific skills; how to communicate in project management... all with the intent to build on your skills to Influence, Differentiate and Engage more people and more business.

Suzanne F. Stevens and Giles Atkinson, of Ignite Excellence, recently participated in the Consulting Engineers of Ontario (CEO)'s charity golf tournament, held at the RattleSnake Point Golf Club, in Milton, Ontario. As part of our continued attempt to be involved in support of important grass root causes, Ignite Excellence donated a complimentary public program valued at $1500 along with a hole sponsorship of $250 for the event. Almost $17,000 was raised for CEO's designated charity: Engineers Without Borders.

Suzanne F. Stevens, President & Founder of Ignite Excellence, went back to Nairobi, Kenya to work at the Africa International University (AIU), a university specializing in developing the leaders of tomorrow. Ignite Excellence donates programs to help PhD and Masters' students, the top performers to communicate their message with impact. Suzanne also ran a women leadership forum discussing women in Africa, their role and what impact they could have at the grass root level.
